President Trump reportedly discussed forming a new political party – the Patriot Party – after “feuding” with the Republican establishment.
The Wall Street Journal reported the following in its January 19th piece entitled “Trump Has Discussed Starting a New Political Party”:
President Trump has talked in recent days with associates about forming a new political party, according to people familiar with the matter, an effort to exert continued influence after he leaves the White House.
Mr. Trump discussed the matter with several aides and other people close to him last week, the people said. The president said he would want to call the new party the “Patriot Party,” the people said.
Mr. Trump has feuded in recent days with several Republican leaders including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.), who on Tuesday said Mr. Trump deserved blame for provoking the deadly Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol. Polls show Mr. Trump retains strong support among rank-and-file GOP voters.
We are not going to win anything as we are presently constituted. The RINO party has us in the cellar and they are not inclined to do anything for US, but rather maintain their pay checks and bow down to the Marxist’s and play patty cakes with them. Something HAS TO BE DONE about Mitch O’Blarney!!! Nothing but a mouth piece for the other side. He hated Trump. Played along when it was for him, but against Trump when he looked good to the Marxist’s.
I hope that assessment is correct, and I think that might be the best we can hope for. However, implicit in that is a lot of heartbreak, hardship, poverty, and loss of national wealth and industrial base before the recovery begins.
I have kind of included that vision above implicitly in many of my "predictions" which I admit, are pessimistic, but I think I include this scenario you describe above as implicit in Tyranny as the choice. Probably in Rebellion as well. (Tyranny and Rebellion are my two main choices, because I don't know how our system is going to heal itself and allow change without Tyranny leading to Rebellion, or plain Rebellion.
I see what has happened in Venezuela as the best example of a path we may follow. And that is my pessimistic side.
If the fraud is to be addressed, I think it will have to be on the local level.
Fine by me as I’m done with the GOP. Any Red politician can count me out unless a particular candidate can prove otherwise. I’ll be concentrating on 3rd party.
Many from the ‘Walk Away’ movement will be ready. Fb removed the entire ‘Walk Away’ page which contained thousands of videos and personal posts as to why they left the democrat party. Brandon Straka is leading an impressive movement.
I’m in. Of course this makes it easier for them (dems and gop swamp) to ID their collective enemy.
I don’t have an issue with President Trump starting a new political party but I wish he would first go after the MSM monopoly. Of course, President Trump is an energetic man who can accomplish much, so maybe he can do both.

I just wish someone who has an idea on how this can be “fixed” would let me know. Just one little idea, because I don’t see one anytime soon, or possibly ever. Please explain. . .
I’m so sick of the republican party, especially the ones in Washington State. There were a few I liked but the party as a whole in my state are totally weak and pathetic.
This is exactly my frame of mind at the moment. Vengeance! And especially at the republicans that conspired against and then deserted our president Trump.
The Republican Party has to feel the hurt as they see their numbers decline from year to year. If we can primary them out of power with Trump candidates, that would be ideal. Otherwise, I could care less if the Republican Party goes the way of the Whigs.
I am hoping that Nunes will be one of the first to join the Patriot Party. He took just about as many arrows as Trump has. I really like the guy and am proud that he was given the Presidential Freedom Award by Trump for his faithfulness to the Constitution.

Do it. Our nation is supposed to be a two-party system but both idiotic parties burned that to the ground.

No you don’t. Trump won in 2016 (and 2020 before it was stolen) without MSM support. I liked the Contract for America and Tea Party. The reason they lost wasn’t the media, the problem is that party leadership got weak in the knees and believed all the media “they don’t like us” crap. That wasn’t a media problem, it was a leadership problem. Trump shows what you can do when you stay the course.

In #214, “lost” probably isn’t the right way to put it. “Became rudderless and faded away” is a better way to say that.
I’m all in. I have some experience here in Hellinois getting a third party formed and obtaining ballot access and so I’m ready and eager to get to work!
I strongly disagree, wouldn’t it be better to work at the local GOP level and put up a candidate to run in the Primary? Seems to me it would take a lot less work.
If you go third party, the GOP will still field their RINO candidate. So you’ll split the vote and the Rat will win every time. Whereas if you eliminate the RINO in the Primary, you have a much better chance of winning.
I don’t trust Trump with primary challengers. He had picked the wrong ones too many times.
Plus that puts us still supporting the lesser of the evils every general election.
