What Trump said early in his speech:

Now, it is up to Congress to confront this egregious assault on our democracy. And after this, we’re going to walk down, and I’ll be there with you, we’re going to walk down, we’re going to walk down.

Anyone you want, but I think right here, we’re going to walk down to the Capitol, and we’re going to cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women, and we’re probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them.

Because you’ll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength and you have to be strong. We have come to demand that Congress do the right thing and only count the electors who have been lawfully slated, lawfully slated.

I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.

What Trump said in closing his speech

So we’re going to, we’re going to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue. I love Pennsylvania Avenue. And we’re going to the Capitol, and we’re going to try and give The Democrats are hopeless, they never vote for anything. Not even one vote. But we’re going to try and give our Republicans, the weak ones because the strong ones don’t need any of our help. We’re going to try and give them the kind of pride and boldness that they need to take back our country.

To be clear I am more a conservative than not. But I think of myself as an independent. If I be banished, then so be it, but I speak from the heart.

In my opinion every one who committed a crime that day should be charged. Perhaps I am naive, but never in my life did I think I would see such a thing. At an emotional level the House Manager's video is damning. All those people wearing Trump hats attacking Law Enforcement Officers is a disgrace. My God it was hard to watch.

Trump is a polarizing individual. Personally, I have never been a fan but that is my right. He is a chauvinist (perhaps at times a bigot) and always a bully. But that is his nature and you can accept him what he is, or not, that is your perrogative.

He was, however, my president just as Obama was before him, and I respect the office of the president more than the individual. So the question is did Trump incite the riot? To understand, we need to put the House Manager Video into context.

What Trump said vs what was shown: And after this, we’re going to walk down, and I’ll be there with you, we’re going to walk down, we’re going to walk down. Anyone you want, but I think right here, we’re going to walk down to the Capitol , and we’re going to cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women, and we’re probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them.

Notice the part that was clipped out. So Trump is telling his supporters to walk down and cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women.

The immediately following clip is of a group of people saying “Let’s take the Capitol” followed by an individual dressed in khakis saying “We are going to the Capitol where our problems are. It is in that direction”. Now you have to appreciate that congress has an approval rating at that time of less than 20%. That means more Fox News watchers believe Biden fairly won the election than they believe Congress is doing a good job. Aside from that, it is important to recognize that this same individual was present when it all started and shows in various locations throughout the day. In fact, he is at the Capitol at the first storming of the gate which occurred between 12:45 and 12:50 PM.

It is a 20 minute walk from where Trump’s speech occurred to the Capitol. This means that the individual had to leave before Trump’s concluding remarks. Given that Trump started at 12:00 PM, would you find the first 20 minutes of his speech to be inciting a riot?

Even if you could conclude that the first 20 minutes were what incited the crowd to storm the Capitol, it does not match well with video from the night before where the same individual was out on the streets trying to stir the pot by saying “We need to take the Capitol”. I saw that video one on elijah schaffer tweets.

The point is, the capitol was under siege before Trump’s speech concluded. It is close to a 20 minute walk to the Capitol so perhaps halfway thru the individual left and headed for the Capitol. While Trump clearly said to be peaceful, this individual had already conclude the night before that there was a need to take the capitol, and was present at the moment it all began.

One final note, the individual is photograph #16 on the FBIs most wanted list. I do not know who he is, but he should be charged with inciting a riot.

It was mostly Antifa /BLM with some Trump zealots suckered in. It was a False Flag / Reichstag Fire .

anyone remember Chuck Schumer leading the insurrection against the Supreme Court, shouting violent encouragement to the out of control mob ?

Trump's enemies are trying hard to paint him as the inciter of the riot, with no freedom of speech at all, worse than someone who frivolously yells "Fire!" in a crowded theater, responsible for many deaths, etc. It's all fabrication, but people need to be able to discern that.

They already have their little script to follow and who cares about the facts.

Yep it was all staged

and they get away with this stuff by just saying "conspiracy theory" when anyone calls them on it.

They can do anything and get away with it

First Amendment protected political speech has been politically inflamatory in every generation. Why is Trump’s inflamatory political speech more dire and convictable than Schumer’s?

At an emotional level most people would look at the video at think OMG this is terrible, and immediately jump to its Trump's fault. That is at an emotional level. But at a logical level you cannot make that connection on the surface. #16 on the FBI list played a critical part. I do not know who he is, but he played a significant part.

To Trump supporters credit, the night before #16 was out on the streets saying "We need to take the capitol" and the started shouting Fed! Fed! Fed! as if the guy was a plant.

So to argue Trump was incited the riot is wrong. This guy (along with many others) had pre-planned the event with precision.

Can you explain, with examples, what you mean by this: 'He is a chauvinist (perhaps at times a bigot) and always a bully.

(And do you consider love, pride, concern toward Country and its welfare and future security to be 'chauvinist'?)

I do not know who started beating down doors, but I do know #16 is in the house manager video, and is also videoed the night before saying “We need to take the capitol”, and is also present at the storming of the gate between 12:45 and 12:50, before Trump finished his remarks.

incredible how only Byron York has been asking these questions - FakeNewsMSM has simply gone with their fake narrative:

4 Feb: Washington Examiner: Byron York: Byron York’s Daily Memo: What we don’t know about the Capitol riot
A week ago, I sent the Capitol Police a list of questions about the riot. It is not an exhaustive list; it just asks for some basic facts about the violence and its aftermath. Here is the list:

1.How many Capitol Police officers were injured in the riot?
2.What were their injuries? What is their condition now?

***3.Did Capitol Police confiscate any firearms from rioters? If so, how many and what types?

4.What is the status of the investigation into the killing of Officer Sicknick?
5.Is there an autopsy report for Officer Sicknick? If so, will it be released to the public, or will its key findings be released to the public?
6.What is the status of the investigation into the shooting of Ashli Babbitt? Has it been ruled a justifiable shooting?
7.Who was the officer who shot Ms. Babbitt?
8.Did any other officers discharge firearms during the rioting? If so, under what circumstances?
9.Did any rioters discharge any firearms during the rioting? If so, under what circumstances?

Capitol Police have not responded to the questions, including a follow-up email and phone calls...

on FR on 3 Feb, I asked the question: did anyone brandish a gun or fire a gun in the Capitol on 6 Jan, apart from the person who killed Ashli Babbit?

FakeNewsMSM, which has gone along with “insurrection”, and emphasized GUNS.

PBS brings up guns early on:

He’s got a gun!...

this week in Australia, on taxpayer-funded ABC, 8 mentions of insurrection. guns early on, and stuff worth pondering from Tarrio, who ABC just happens to be available for an interview:

TDS-infected, taxpayer-funded ABC Australia goes with GUNS, 8 MENTIONS OF INSURRECTION, AND GETS INTERVIEW WITH THE SUSPECT PROUD BOY TARRIO!

VIDEO: 46m11s: Feb: ABC TV Australia: Four Corners: Downfall: The last days of President Trump

It’s mid-afternoon on Insurrection Day and the mob has found its way to the entrance of the Speaker’s Lobby...

REPORTER:
On January six the Proud Boys in Washington were without their leader. Tarrio had been arrested two days earlier over his role in a rally in December when he stripped a Black Lives Matter banner from a church and burned it in the street.

ENRIQUE TARRIO, CHAIRMAN, PROUD BOYS:
I don’t care if its inflammatory. I believe it’s a Marxist movement. I’m not going to apologize for it. I did something that I felt was right. And if another banner sits on the floor, I’ll burn it again.

REPORTER:
The FBI is now trying to determine if he directed the actions of the Proud Boys from a remote location.

ENRIQUE TARRIO, CHAIRMAN, PROUD BOYS:
I was about an hour and a half away. But I’m not too worried about it. I’m not. But can they. There’s a saying that a federal prosecutor can prosecute a ham sandwich. Right? If they wanted to. But I think they’re going to have a very, very hard time with me. I got full faith in it.

REPORTER:
Under orders from Tarrio, the Proud Boy contingents that day did not wear their characteristic uniforms.

ENRIQUE TARRIO, CHAIRMAN, PROUD BOYS:
There’s a reason why we didn’t dress in our typical black and yellow. Because we were tired of like trying to walk down the street and people asking us to take pictures with them, and things like that.

REPORTER:
When you posted about not wearing your uniform, you said it was so that you wouldn’t be visible. You wouldn’t be identifiable.

ENRIQUE TARRIO, CHAIRMAN, PROUD BOYS:
No, I said that we’re going to go incognito. So, people won’t come take pictures of us.

REPORTER:
I’ll have to stop you. You cannot be making the case that you went in incognito because you were tired of being stopped and having your photos taken?

ENRIQUE TARRIO, CHAIRMAN, PROUD BOYS:
Yeah, I could make the case.

REPORTER:
Having broken through the barricades with his men, Joe Biggs is seen running up the Capitol steps, almost indistinguishable from other rioters.

REPORTER:
Let’s just talk about Joseph Biggs. What is his relationship to you?

ENRIQUE TARRIO, CHAIRMAN, PROUD BOYS:
One of my best friends.

REPORTER:
The FBI alleges that he was part of commanding the Proud Boys that day. Is that correct? Was he there in your place?

My right to conclude these just as much as your right to disagree, Personally I think he treats women as second class citizens. But that is my right. Grab them by the ***** for example. Not words I would use, but, I do respect the office of the President and he was duly elected by the people, so he has my support in that regard. Otherwise I would not be here defending this.

What about the large armed black blm supporting man who killed the small unarmed white woman singlehandedly? Since no other officer felt threatened enough to shoot simultaneously, should he be investigated for murder?

I have watched that video so many times. There are a ton of questions. What they should be focused on is that moment. It is the only time during the actual siege where a human life was purportedly taking. There should be a commission set up to look into that moment. Will it happen? Most likely not because it is against the political narrative they want to follow.

But how do you feel about love of our country and concern for it’s security and success?

(And I think you need to look up the origin and meaning of the term ‘chauvinism’. Some of us use words in their original, historical sense, and not in the high-school-to college-sophomore ‘buzzword’ sense.)

Nothing I’ve seen about Jan 6 warrants this amount of attention.

It looked like many other political protests, that have taken place in America since 1775.

One thing I’ve noticed about Trump’s enemies. They see and hear things, that I can’t see or hear. Whether it was Mueller or the 1st & 2nd impeachment farces, they completely lost me with their reasoning.

What ‘reasoning’?

All they do is manufacture ‘facts’ that aren’t facts at all.
