I lost my husband three months ago and my mother right before that along with my beloved dog last July.
Rush’s death feels on the same level.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your wife. I lost a partner 6 years ago this month. To lose Rush at the same time would be difficult because he gave so much consistency and optimism to my tough days. I am so sorry.

My wife died on January 1 this year, just after midnight. I feel, I think, something akin to the way Churchill felt after France fell to the Nazis. It's just one thing after the other.
