House Republican Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) met with former President Donald Trump this week, according to a report released Thursday.
“He’s in Florida this week on political travel and had meetings at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday and touched base with President Trump while he was there,” Lauren Fine, Scalise’s spokesperson, said in a statement.

Scalise is a Bush League Republican.
All of the GOP leadership has been complicit in sabotaging our President.

I’ve always considered Scalise pretty solid. He’s certainly taken one for the team. I’d much rather have him in House leadership than McCarthy. It would be pretty useful to have a guy who took a bullet from a progressive fundamentalist to rebut the prevailing narrative in these times.

Where was he when Paul Ryan was sabotaging Trump?
President Trump had to find other ways of funding the wall because the GOP refused.
The first two years of the Trump administration were wasted by the GOP before they purposely threw the House to the Democrats so they could impeach him and that was before they assisted the Democrats in cheating him out of office and closed ranks with the Democrats to deny the fraud and swear in His Fraudulency, Senile Joe.
He took “rounds” for the party. I’m gonna cut him a little slack.
I live in Louisiana, Scalise is the best we have. And I mean that as a compliment.

McConnell’s plan to ignore Trump and hope he goes away is already an epic fail. Prominent members of his own caucus are acknowledging Trump’s leadership.
I doubt you will see Liz going. More than likely her old man is slated for a golden needle. That’s why she’s trying so hard to get rid of Trump.
