This could get interesting. Under the KungFlu lockdown orders issued by governors, a large proportion of county sheriffs have refused to play, even in liberal states. They're the ones who know the territory and the people, and are elected and answerable directly to the people.
They also issue any permits and conduct all the training. They are hugely pro-2A. The state police would have a very difficult time acting on their own. They are spread very thin. And never mind the FIB.
Sheriffs and their deputies have a lot of toys nowadays, too.

I would hope the same here. Interesting that all of the red state NGs were recalled but the blue staters are left behind to “guard” the Capital. Makes you wonder if they can connect the dots.

And, that individual right really means something when combined with the right to discuss defensive measures and to organize into informal militia for self-defense. Every word of the 2nd Amendment is critical. Think BLM attacking your neighborhood and being met by a group of neighbors who know what’s going on, as opposed to individual strangers.

Gov. De Santis has already expressed a willingness to defy unconstitutional decrees and could easily raise 2 million militia volunteers - but we would welcome refugee volunteers from states with leftist governors.
I’m pretty sure a local with 2 guns will loan you one.
An alternative for you is seek refuge in a county where the sheriff has issued a call for volunteers - that affords you some claim to being well regulated militia, and some protection from being rousted at 4am by the ATF.

What about the trillions of rounds already in the hands of the citizens? Until we start firing it won’t matter - we still have trillions of rounds of munitions.
And when we do start firing what will they do - unleash the Army? We have way more than the Army does and there is no way in hell WMD’s would be used against the Citizen.
