There are two very different sex change operations, lopadickoffame and addadicktome, and both will work with varying degrees of physical success.
There is no way to change the xx chromosomes to xy or vice versa, so there is no real way to change sex and/or gender.
America is a free country {for now} and anyone can "pretend" to be a man or a woman or a dog, but that declaration does not change the facts.

There’s a financial reason for this. Back in the 60’s advertisers discovered that the “counter culture” was a distinct group they could target for specialized high profit fashion products. Prewashed, ripped jeans come to mind. But music as well. Then, the counter culture collapsed as the people in it became stock brokers. The advertisers looked for a replacement and decided on the thug culture. They began targeting the thug look and the thug music. There is loads of money behind this marketing. Hair products, clothing, shoes, perfume, music...it all adds up.
Without all that marketing, rap music would have been gone a long time ago.
Incidentally, marketing and making money off it is why I am afraid of euthanasia. As soon as it’s legal, Madison Avenue, which has probably relocated to Peoria, Illinois, will find a way to promote it and make money.
