Some 552 developmentally disabled individuals died from COVID-19 in the past year living in small residential group homes, while an additional 6,382 residents and workers were infected, according to the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities. No comprehensive protocol existed to combat the disease as infected individuals were purposely mixed with clean households....

Many states responses were the opposite of what should take place in a “pandemic”. You first seek to protect and isolate the vulnerable, not the healthy. Many forms of the “lock down” policies did the opposite - try to protect the healthy and leave the most vulnerable vulnerable.

If there were honest Federal and state prosecutors who were truly investigating Cuomos myriad corruption schemes then he would resign If the financial incentives involved in the nursing home scam, the kickbacks among contractors that resulted in shoddy bridge construction at the Tappan Zee, the placement of staffer’s family members as “lobbyists” to launder bribes, etc, etc were truly investigated, so many players in New York would be at risk that Cuomo would be forced to be the sacrificial lamb to protect them. The harassment of women and dead elderly people in nursing homes means nothing to the corrupt liberals unless it brings attention to their schemes.

I suppose the leftists will spin this as wonderful and humane “mercy killings” - they gotta take care of that “surplus population.”
The Nazis started by “euthanizing” the terminally ill, the mentally handicapped, etc. and when they didn’t get too much resistance from the public they knew they could get away with much more.
