Just got my second dose today. There was a line a mile long.... literally. Fortunately they move you to the front of the line if it’s your second dose.
I’m inclined not to get the vaccine, in part because so many people are pushing it so hard.
That said, I pray FReepers don’t take this as an opportunity to “cancel” Franklin Graham. Too many FReepers are too easily triggered to “cancel” others.

It’s crazy to equate this to something in the Bible, unless it was an example of overreaching government smiting Christians or Jews.
I would prefer he talk about the benefits of Vitamins (D3, etc? and minerals.
I believe in the short run the vaccine is safer than getting covid. 1000 dead after receiving the vaccine, 560,000 dead after getting covid. 30 million known cases in the US, vs 100 million have received the vaccine.
It's probably still safer to hermit. But there is some risk of contracting it, despite my advanced hermitting skills. My kids come and go. I get deliveries, I got to the grocery store. I occasionally have a date over to the house.
So I think I'm going to ask for the Pfizer vaccine. And if Bill Gates kills me, I'll never buy another Microsoft product.
He needs to stick to preaching the Gospel and quit giving medical advice.

Most people, it seems, don’t want to do the things necessary to keep their bodies healthy and their God-given immune system strong so they opt for an unproven way with a vaccine. I’m sticking with healthy and strong immune system. It’s worked for me so far.
Big nope from me. The point of the good samaritan isn’t that ALL medicine is good. The point was that COMPASSION is good and hypocrisy is bad.

A missionary in Africa called my pastor with an urgent message several years ago. He recanted a dream he had - a message that made me take pause.
He saw a wolf dressed in sheep’s clothing enter a flock of sheep. The sheep accepted him into the flock, and all seemed well.
Then the wolf took out a syringe and began to inoculate the sheep. One by one they fell over dead.
I will never forget that message.
100% of liberals I know ran out and got the shot, trampling each other, bragging about their experience and shaming those of us unvaccinated. I figure NPR must be vaccine pimping.
Most Trump supporter friends and family are not getting it, including me.
As a healthy person who works to enhance my immune system and who had Covid-19, I assume my body has naturally set up it’s awareness of this virus and is prepared to fight it, as well as trillions of other viruses. Why would I inject myself with an experimental vaccine that overrides my natural processes? Does it wear off? What are the long term effects?
The more it’s pushed, the less I want it. I’ve been asked three times today by friends/co-workers, “did you get your vaccine yet?” like it is some fabulous fad. Always with the air of virtuous righteousness. If that isn’t a red flag, I don’t know what is.
I’m trying to remember. Which vaccine did the Samaritan give the injured traveler? Pfizer or Moderna? Did he tell the innkeeper, “I’ll be back in a couple of weeks and will give him his second shot then, if he is still alive”?

Bizarre contorted reasoning IMHO...The Good Samaritan took him to an inn...much like a hospital and paid his medical bills...The Samaritan was not required to put oil and wine on himself.
What is going on when these guys...Seems they when they get to a certain point/age, they lose it? I am thinking of Pat Roberts who has said some really bizarre stuff over past few years.
BTW, what is the pro-life stance on the J&J vaccine?
