Everyone loves “Sherlock”, I saw like 3 episodes and honestly thought it sucked.

I haven't seen it, I dislike any time Sherlock Holmes stories are adapted to take place in "modern times" . The Victorian era is a big part of the charm of the original stories. I have seen Cumberbatch as Dr. Strange and he was well cast in that, unlike the bizarre attempt to make him “Khan" in Star Trek.

. BTW, I also FINALLY watched Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, in Wonder Woman 1984. I haven't seen the first one, but if people were sincere about her being "mesmerizing" and brilliant in the role, her performance must have been 20x better in the first film. She was really flat and boring in the sequel, and apparently speaks with a heavy Israeli accent and hoarse voice, which was just plain weird coming out of Wonder Woman's mouth.

Although some actors have done marvelously in the role, Jeremy Brett was the definitive Sherlock.
