These unarmed patrols and social workers remind me of a scene in the original “War of the Worlds” movie. A priest decides that the Martians are children of God too, so he goes out to meet them. They immediately vaporize him, and that’s the end of that plot line.

Well at least the PROG/LIBs on these patrols will make nice bullet sponges, hopefully it will keep some nice NORMAL person from getting shot.
