The Pentagon is looking into better screening recruits’ and service members’ social media as part of its effort to get rid of “extremism” in the United States military, according to a recent memo from Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.

1. Supporting President Trump
2. A Christian
3. A Conservative
4. Wary of government
5. Thinks government is too big and cost too much.
6. Believes that ALL lives matter, including those not yet born but existing inside a womb.
7. Loves America.
8. Believes the Declaration of Independence, The US Constitution and the Founding Fathers were ALL great.
9. Believes Reparations were paid when the USA lost 600,000 + men fighting the Civil War and ultimately freeing the slaves, whether they meant to or not.
10. Believes there are only two sexes.

Very similar to the Red Scare of post WW 1 America, this is the White male scare. If there are extremists in the military, it’s because the senior leadership has driven soldiers to that point.
I don’t think the average person understands how perilously close were are to chaos. It’s not like the consequences of political loyalty tests for military members and other government workers aren’t well-understood. This crap has been happening in other parts of the world for decades, if not centuries. It’s the stock-in-trade of banana republics.
I’m aghast at how quickly they’ve politicized our uniformed services in ways that would have been unconscionable even a few years ago. This is going to end poorly.
