But here’s the thing. American warships never should have been deployed to the Black Sea the first place! It would be like going over to your angry neighbor’s house and sitting on his front porch.

There’s no way that’s not a stupid idea. Either you’re going to get into an unnecessary fight with your neighbor, or you’re going to have to slink back home when he starts complaining.

Ironically, the Russian Navy has difficulty deploying their Navy even in the Black Sea because their ships are unreliable and in poor repair.

The United States won’t deploy our Navy because the Biden Admin don’t have the will.

IMH guess: Us ships would only go into the Black Sea at this time with tacit approval from Russia. Though they frequently go into it's international waters.
