Chinese government officials and state-controlled media agencies have recently ramped up their rhetoric against the United States on the issue of climate change, portraying the U.S. as not doing enough to limit greenhouse emissions even though China is by far the world’s biggest polluter.
One shot fired in the propaganda war came this week in the form of an interview that CGTN America, the U.S. affiliate of the Beijing-controlled China Central Television (CCTV), conducted with retired Army Lt. General Russel Honoré.

It’s a little surprising cause I’m pretty sure Honore was somehow in charge in New Orleans post-Katrina and was quoted famously as saying “You can’t fix stupid” regarding something or other.

Whenever the Dems want a black face in a military uniform to talk about how lousy and broken the government is, they wheel him out again.

You are correct. Honore was the military face of the post-hurricane craziness. A National Guard General as I recall.

There is no telling what each general is REALLY like in most cases, just like we don’t know what politicians are REALLY like. This “honore” is a communist, etc. We also know for sure about another general: evil Petraeus (”Betray US”, etc). Who knows what the other generals are REALLY like who purport to be patriotic, etc. Are they really patriotic and pro-American, etc. outside of the earshot and eyeshot of the military and we the people?
