BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Maggie Williams, a junior on the Summit High School track team, broke a school record in the 800-meter last Thursday. Her moment of glory has been somewhat overshadowed a by moment of concern – Williams passed out as she stumbled her way across the finish line. She and her coach say the mask is to blame, and now the Oregon Health Authority is updating its guidelines.

Individual lawsuits against public health officials would seem to be in order. If Nike had ordered an athlete to wear a mask to perform in their clothing and she had passed out at the finish line, what would happen to the company in the courts?
These people are truly insane. Making kids wear masks during a track and field event? They are a full on cult.
Who knew constricting your breathing could be bad for one’s health.

I do not tolerate the mask well - almost fainted at my car after being in the hair salon for over an hour. Removing the mask stopped the ill feelings immediately.
Later, as I was riding my bike with my family - in an “enforced mask” area - I had to pull over because I was either going to faint, vomit or do both. I won’t wear a mask again while walking my dogs or riding my bike.
Let ‘em arrest me.
They were making cross country runners wear masks. Masks are their religion.
The only reason the state health authority changes the “guidance” is to try and avoid a future lawsuit. There is no science involved in these edits one way or the other. It’s all about control.

Making a person run, or walk, with a mask on is stupid. ANYBODY with a brain knows that the runner needs to breathe fully!
The country has been in a state of collective insanity since March 2020, when the left saw an opportunity to kill people and blame the deaths on Trump.
Damn straight! I am almost 90. They would have to feed, clothe, house and medicate me. It'd save a ton of money that would otherwise go to a senior care home.
They believe in them totally, even though we are now going through the fourth wave of the virus, wearing masks everywhere. Our Governor just signed another 60 day extension to her emergency powers, so lock downs are eminent.
More likely because she over exerted herself breaking the record.
What a bunch of dumb politicians running that beautiful State. Killing their own because of stupidity.

Forcing kids to wear masks is child abuse! We need to refuse to comply with insane orders that don’t make any sense. We need to exercise the power of NO!
My 10-year-old grandson’s first soccer game is coming up this Saturday. His dad has told us that the coach will require all of the kids to wear masks while playin, It’s a female coach named Rebecca. I thought they were all supposed to change their names to Karen for easy identification.
Just wait til summer gets here...
