Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney has penned a slashing op-ed where she lays out a stark choice for her party between Donald Trump's crusade to 'delegitimize' Joe Biden's election and her own and fidelity to the U.S. Constitution.
Cheney issued the withering attack on elements of her own party as she prepares to confront difficult odds to maintain her elected leadership post.
Trump and Trump loyalist in Congress are already coming out against her, and Trump backer Elise Stefanik is already launching a campaign to replace her.
But Cheney, the daughter of the former vice president, cast the battle as one far bigger than her own political career.
'The Republican Party is at a turning point, and Republicans must decide whether we are going to choose truth and fidelity to the Constitution,' she wrote in the Washington Post Wednesday.

No, “threat to Democracy” is Dim meme, theme, slander used to attack many things they don’t like about Trump. They keep pushing and pushing that line all the back to 2016. It is part of the propaganda, mind control, mantra they repeat over and over against Trump. They use to make it permanently fixed in the minds of the sheeple - Trump = “threat to democracy”. They know so many of the sheeple are so ignorant that all they have to do is keep that mantra fixed in their brains.
And now Liz Cheney is repeating it.
She has made herself a tool of the Dims. No one made her do it. It was her choice.

John McCain’s daughter defended Liz and called Trump “Cheetos Jesus” on Disney’s ABC network.
So, mmm, yeah, “YOUR” children ARE watching Liz and fellow RINOs and they are vulgar AF. Go vote for Hillary again and tell her how you wish she was madame president.
Maybe Liz and other 2024 Challengers just want to go up on the debate stages to tear down the conservative candidate(s).
I guess she missed the 4 years the dems undermined everything trump tried to do.

Truthfully, I will be very surprised and pleased if they throw her overboard. The whole “Maverick” shtick is very overrated and she is showing herself to be a swamp creature of the worst kind with no tether to the voters who sent her there.
