Biden’s official Twitter account later posted, "The rule is now simple: get vaccinated or wear a mask until you do. The choice is yours."
The tweet was quickly picked up by some influential users. Glenn Greenwald, the journalist, retweeted Biden’s comment and posted, "This is not actually a rule."
The tweet also raised questions about children who don't have the approval to receive the vaccines. Dana Hull, a Bloomberg reporter, tweeted, "Really hard for parents who have kids under 12 to square this."
The Biden administration has been focused on getting more Americans to sign up for COVID-19 vaccines that it says are safe and highly effective. States have been joining the effort and have been coming up with ways to entice Americans to sign up for a jab. (Ohio just announced a $1 million lottery for those fully vaccinated.)
One of the lingering concerns for Americans with "vaccine hesitancy" is the idea that the drugs were rushed along to meet the urgency, a claim that health officials have denied.
Some Americans point out that although Pfizer and Moderna have been granted emergency use authorization, these vaccines have not received full approval from the Food and Drug Administration. (Pfizer is seeking full approval and Moderna and Johnson & Johnson are also expected to make the request, ABC News reported.)
The FDA issued a statement this week saying it determined that Pfizer vaccine "has met the statutory criteria to amend" its emergency use authorization and that "the known and potential benefits of this vaccine in individuals 12 years of age and older outweigh the known and potential risks, supporting the vaccine’s use in this population."
The White House did not immediately respond to an after-hours email from Fox News.

Pfizer has already filed for full FDA approval. Moderna is filing for full FDA approval in the next few weeks. Both are being granted Priority Review, which means they can expect a response in less than 6 months. That puts their timeline at around 18 - 20 months from the start of the original clinical trials on March 16, 2020.
It was originally the Democrats claiming the vaccines were rushed when it was looking like President Trump was going to be able to announce EUAs for one or more vaccines before the election. They warned that President Trump had coerced the FDA to approve things that weren’t ready. That President Trump was abusing his authority to alter normal processes for political gains. None of it was true. Suddenly after the election, Democrats changed their tune completely. Now Biden is trying to take credit for President Trump’s accomplishments.

Even drugs have the full FDA approvals are pulled from the market due to very similar side effects the covid vaccines are showning now. I can’t even imagine what was found during the short test that was over looked amd what other surprises are coming.
If a blood pressure med was released to the public in the same way, few would take it.
The FDA takes years to approve drugs because they can extort money from the pharmaceutical companies.
The FDA is no more competent than the drug companies themselves. I would trust the word of a pharmaceutical company over a gov’t bureaucrat.

So they just admitted the vaccine has “known and potential risks.”
Snark aside, I’m sure their risk/benefit analysis could only, possibly, be valid on a macro scale. But an individual analysis may often be the opposite for young, healthy people for whom their is little risk to them associated with being unvaccinated.
