More incentive to work harder to become one of the rich and powerful.
I’m not rich and powerful, but I thrived - financially. The mask stuff and lockdowns made me sick, though.
I thrived in 2020 because I ignored every stupid shutdown order I encountered. To this day I go out of my way to patronize other business establishments that did the same.
I suppose I’d be considered a member of the “laptop class,” but I’m hardly rich and powerful.
And did what they wanted when they wanted and where they wanted; can add in several governors who violated their own lockdown orders.
“people missed important “elective” procedures such as cancer screenings with long-term consequences.”
My wife has 3 female friends from mid 50’s to our age, low 80’s, who were not seen/screened/treated re their known cancers.
Now, they have new or re occurring cancers and are starting treatment.
We have a younger woman on our church prayer list, who is very pregnant (due to deliver mid June) with a cancer that hasn’t been treated.
My wife has an appt. with the excellent pain specialist (non surgical) next week for pain running from her neck down to her foot.
She had cataract surgery and lens replacement on both eyes about a year before the shutdowns. Her vision was deteriorating so bad, she stopped driving. She was treated with lasers via an outpatient visit about 2 months ago and is doing fine. She is back to 20/20 vision.
So, how is this different than any other year?
I’m well off, don’t know what ‘rich’ means in this context. I did very well last year and so far this year. But I’ve done very well in general for 45 years so whatever. What I’m doing the last few years is cashing in on long-held (20-35 year) investments. And the stock market has done well for a while, which is nothing new either. It’s done well more often than not for the 45 years I’ve invested in it.
It’s all part of the plan.
You know you are being lied to when liquor and pot stores are deemed “essential”.
This must be the 1000th article I’ve read that stated this exact same thing
We have 50% of this country at least he’s informed and understanding all of these things and how corrupt the Democratic Party is the other 50% is part of the corruption and doesn’t care at all about that corruption
That’s why as I hear Dan Bon Gino who has very big shoes to fill for the eminent Rush Limbaugh go on and on about the hunter Biden laptop I’m laughing and just absolutely laughing
Do you think Joe Biden the puppet cares for one second whether he’s blackmailable?
Do you think any Democrat ever thinks that they’re going to ever have any consequences for blatantly lying ; illegal activities felonies activities stealing; cheating in elections. Rioting. and pretty much anything you can name right in front of our faces?
Until and unless real law-enforcement starts to step up and address the lawlessness of the Democratic Party this country is going to keep sliding until it becomes Venezuela
Now I am well aware that there are millions and millions of heavily armed patriots out here and that it’s never going to become Venezuela I’m just using that term rhetorically
“The rich and powerful thrived...”
The inexorable and obvious result of globalization, of which the pandemic wS an exercise.
That was the “progressive” plan. Keep you from having a chance to get where they are. That’s what they’ve always been about.
And whatever small businesses managed to survive the lockdowns may not survive the endless unemployment checks keeping the labor force at home on the couch.
If you think that's bad, just wait util they get through establishing Karl Marx's policies!
(For a preview, check out North Korea.)
The Chinese Communist Party used the threat of the pandemic and lockdowns to crush a rebellion in Hong Kong.
The American powers-that-be did something similar
many kids effectively missed out on a year of education.
Though we were originally told that the virus came from a “wet market” in Wuhan, it now looks likely that it came from a Chinese lab in Wuhan — one that reportedly got funding from Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases to do “gain of function” research, which looks at ways to make existing viruses deadlier or more infectious.
