Forging a vaccination card or providing fraudulent proof of immunity could soon be a felony in New York based on a measure approved Thursday by the Democratic-led Assembly.
The measure, yet to pass in the state Senate, would tighten forgery laws and penalties in New York. The bill would lead to felony charges for forging immunization records or possessing forged proof of an immunization with the intent to defraud.

Making this a felony is like jailing a jaywalker for Life. Positively ridiculous.
If having a fake vaccine passport is more of a crime than having fake immigration papers and being here illegally ... you might be a Democrat.

Getting a fake passport was really a step in the State's direction; you weren't arguing that the State couldn't ask for it, only that you wouldn't provide a real one.
It didn't take long for the State to address that little item.
They decriminalize crimes and criminalize politically incorrect actions. This is fascism at its finest. With this law they can slam you into prison for NOTHING AT ALL!
This and the “passport” are nothing but fascist means of controlling the population. And your dear elected officials are fascists.

Actually, it should be a felony with a hefty fine or time in jail. No one is making anyone take the vaccine but they can make you prove you did. BTW, USSC has ruled states/cities may fine folks who do not get vaccines.
On February 20, 1905, the Supreme Court, by a 7-2 majority, said in Jacobson v. Massachusetts that the city of Cambridge, Massachusetts could fine residents who refused to receive smallpox injections.
The CDC said it was ok to go vote at the polls on election day even if you had an active case of Covid-19.
NOW then, if you can go out in public, stand in line, and touch surfaces on equipment used by everyone on a busy day WHEN YOU HAVE COVID, how the hell can a city or state keep you out of a concert (often held in a public venue) just because you don’t have proof of being vaccinated (which itself does not keep you from getting covid)?

Yes, certainly a heinous crime - more vicious than painting over a BLM street grafitti in front of Trump Tower.
