Back in March, Democrats in Congress passed and Joe Biden signed a $1.9 trillion stimulus bill.

Wonder if the bill was titled money on a string.

You have to put the blame where it belongs.
Joe biteme is not the problem.
Here is the problem.
Business owner, “Why won’t anyone work for me?”.
Employees, “Because you treat us like shit and pay crap for wages”.

This shift the blame to biteme comes directly from the chamber of commerce.
Or, to be more specific, the bush league chamber of commerce worshiping republiCAN’Ts.

Pay a fair wage, and treat your people as if the success of your business depends upon them, and people will be lining up to work for you.

This is just another ploy to get more illegals to “Do the jobs that Americans won’t do”.

We see you. And thank you to President Trump for exposing these people for who they are.

This just anecdotal, but the jobs I see around here are in retail and in the food industry. One fast food chain is offering a $500 sign on bonus. I also see more older people working in fast food places. I spoke to one manager who is really worried about the kind of people applying now that they may lose the extra money. Most do not really want to work, have conditions on accepting a job and have not worked for nearly a year and a half. In other words the people motivated to work, worked through the pandemic. Essentially we have created a generation of workers in their twenties who are unskilled or lack a work history.

Skilled labor is a horse of a different color. The shop where my truck is being rebuilt cannot find skilled workers so the owner took on two skilled Mexican’s. He farms his engines out to a garage that also employs Mexican mechanics. That shop has been more reliable and do better work and are generally on time. So how did we get to the point that mechanics trained outside the USA are providing better quality, at least in this one case. It is one thing to say we need more people trained in the trades it is another to find people willing to work hard and provide quality work.
