According to newly released video footage, University of Oklahoma instructors want to punish students who defy campus orthodoxy. Their plan is to “avoid ‘a rhetoric of dysfunctional silence’ that closes ears to marginalized voices,” by — you guessed it — silencing marginalized voices.
On Tuesday, the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE), a nonprofit focused on protecting campus free speech, publicized video footage of an April 14 workshop on “Anti-Racist Rhetoric & Pedagogies” at the University of Oklahoma (OU). The workshop’s leaders presented slides about “systemic racism,” “white privilege,” and “subverting white institutional defensiveness.” In an attempt to teach so-called antiracism, the workshop’s leaders also promoted censorship and indoctrination.
The event was “one of nine professional development workshops for instructors and grad students” at OU. During the workshop, three faculty members taught their colleagues “how to foster an anti-racist environment in their classrooms,” brainstorming tactics for dissuading, censoring, and penalizing “problematic” speech.

Exactly what I was told, word for word, by the administrations in Texas in my latter years of teaching before making a career change. Exact words. No one in society would come to my defense.

Usually it comes in the form of blunting classroom discussion that naturally or organically moves in a particular direction due to gaps of logic appearing in the professor’s presentation that prove embarrassing for the professor to address. The student identified by the professor as the locus of the professor’s discomfort is immediately targeted by the professor and made to pay for the transgression right there and then, in a process the school’s administration perversely sees as being fully within the professor’s discretion as a kind of classroom “manager” whose intellectual authority is for all intents and purposes impossible to even question much less challenge during class instructional time/lecture time.
Not one county in OK voted for Obama, Hill or Biden but this crap goes on even there.
Why are parents sending their young people to these Marxist indoctrination centers? American universities are no longer worthwhile for our future. They are the source of pure hatred, bitterness and destruction of America.

Suggestions for the new war:
1. Unless your son or daughter is prepared to take Calculus in their first semester, I would suggest a vocational of trade school.
2. The state legislature needs to cut off ALL funding to the school.
3. Do not spend one penny on school related activities, or merchandise.
4. Do not watch any school related activity on television.
By reducing the number of students and cutting off funding, you will hurt the Humanities departments which is where all this bullshit originates. These courses are all required to be taken by all students, but do not generate income from donations and research grants like the STEM or business courses.
