Team USA Olympian Gwen Berry says she is not anti-American and insists she should still compete in the Tokyo 2021 games after turning away from the American flag during the national anthem.
Speaking to the Black News Channel about the backlash the gesture received, Berry said Tuesday: 'I never said that I didn't want to go to the Olympic games, that's why I competed and got third and made the team.'
Berry, who is sponsored by the leftist defund-the-police advocate group Color of Change, added: 'I never said that I hated the country. I never said that. All I said was I respect my people enough to not stand for or acknowledge something that disrespects them. I love my people. Point blank, period.'

It’s all about money. “Stupid” should have gotten her commercial endorsement first, then pull her anti-American stunt. The left gestapo would be in the wings, ready to deploy against any “racist company” who would dare cancel her contract. Stupid would continue to get paid, but never appear in a commercial again. Instead Stupid is toxic and there is no upside to any company offering her a contract. Besides, she didn’t win first place.
The Fox News site has article after article about celebrities and other America haters coming to her defense. It’s like Fox doesn’t want to come right out and defend her so they make their position known by the slant of the stories the print.

Good thing it wasn’t a rainbow flag and in the month of June. She would have been dropped off the team immediately, forced to publicly humiliate herself by tearfully reading her mea culpa on the 6 pm national news, then make her final exit from the public spotlight ... never to be seen again.

Why do American blacks always assume that the Word “slavery” always means their ancestors? Outside of Africa itself black slaves were virtually nonexistent in white nations until the 15th century. Blacks are probably not even the most enslaved race in history.

What if Olympian Gwen Barry decides to use the Olympics to champion nudists rights and decides he doesn't need to wear pants while competing? Nudists have rights too and viewers who don't want to watch Gwen's penis swinging around while he throws the hammer are just bigots.
