LGBT activists are relentless in forcing their agenda on the American people. It’s not enough for companies to fly rainbow flags every Pride month — they have to use special pronouns, too. It’s not enough for businesses to serve LGBT people — they have to bake custom cakes celebrating same-sex weddings and gender transitions, too. It’s not enough for Christian companies to stop funding outspoken political groups — they have to stop funding Christian groups, too.
Take Chick-fil-A, for example. Back in 2012, LGBT activists targeted Chick-fil-A for a “kiss-in,” to protest the fast food joint’s stance defining marriage as being between one man and one woman. At the time, outlets like Forbes reported that Chick-fil-A had given about $5 million to “anti-gay marriage groups since 2003.” Chick-fil-A’s crime? Supporting conservative nonprofits like the Family Research Council (FRC) and Exodus International, which offered therapy for people to overcome unwanted same-sex attraction (often demonized as “conversion therapy”).
The WinShape Foundation had given $1,000 to FRC, which the far-left smear factory the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) had branded an “anti-LGBT hate group” and placed on a map with the Ku Klux Klan. Liberal news outlets like HuffPost cited the SPLC’s accusation that FRC is a “hate group,” and many branded the fast-food chain “Chick-fil-hate.” The backlash mounted after CEO Dan Cathy defended marriage as between one man and one woman. LGBT activists called a boycott.
A deranged man named Floyd Corkins targeted FRC for a terrorist attack. He stormed the headquarters with a nine-millimeter handgun and a bag of Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches. Thanks to the bravery of security guard Leo Johnson, Corkins failed to carry out his planned massacre, but he did seriously wound Johnson.

For those who don’t remember the above cited incident...
He later told the FBI he targeted Family Research Council (FRC) because of the SPLC’s “hate group” accusation. He also revealed his plan to smear the chicken sandwiches into the faces of FRC staff after he had killed them.
Corkins pled guilty to terrorism charges and was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
The SPLC did not remove FRC from its “hate group” list after the attack.
The “Human Rightser” Campaign IS a hate group!!!!
Makes no difference. Drive-through lines back up onto the street during lunch. That is not going to change. That’s why I always go in the store to place my order; in and out within 5 minutes.
Pray that if you’re ever attacked for your beliefs like Chick fil A was, you can resist the temptation to slander your fellow Christians in order to defend yourself like Chick fil A did (to the Salvation Army).
When it started, it was “What happens in the bedroom between consenting adults is none of the government’s business.” I said “Yuck” but went along with it because it seemed to increase the amount of freedom in the US.
Then it was “We want to get married.” I didn’t think it would be a real marriage, but still went along with it because, again, ‘freedom.’
Then it Perversion on Parade at the various ‘Pride’ marches. Okay. First Amendment.
Then they got in the schools. And the Boy Scouts.
Then it was “Bake the damn cake,” cancel everyone who doesn’t support their perversion, and mutilate children.
So, now, these days I kinda like the idea of ‘Anti-LGBT Hate Groups.’ Best of luck to them, if they even exist.
LGBTQad infinitum needs to realize that the constant blah blah blah blah about it is beyond tiresome now.
The trans is starting to give up the ghost. Pedophilia is a nightmare and cannot be justified in the face of parents who will happily gut, castrate, burn, disfigure and destroy anyone who so much as touches their offspring
(Somethings will not change no matter what fairy-tale is spun).
Bestiality is disgusting to just about everyone, including PETA who care more about the animal than your corpse.
Whatever deviancy the left can come up with now, it getting slimmer.
Everyone is very sick and tired of the bleating.
When Chick-fil-A resumes donating to the Salvation Army I will resume buying food there.
To me, what Chick-fil-A has done makes it worse than any other fast food franchise. They are hypocrites who use the claim of being a Christian-based company in order to exploit true Christians. They should stop pretending and open their restaurants on Sunday.
They don’t want tolerance, they want celebration, dominion, and total submission.
“LGBT activists are relentless in forcing their agenda on the American people”
And what did they ask for when they started coming out of the closets? Just to be left alone and not persecuted for their beliefs. Now they want to rule the country. I sure miss them hiding in their closets.
if all these businesses would stop being political- it would be better for business!
There are places i won’t spend $$ because they’ve decided to lecture me on blm and gay nonsense.
Chik Fil A’s stance on homos and blm seem to be waffling!
“When Chick-fil-A resumes donating to the Salvation Army I will resume buying food there.”
Not me. It would much more. Starting with confessing how they have strayed from their founding principles.
If your store does curbside via the smartphone app, try that. Best deal yet to beat the drive thru insanity.
It’s not really about pro or anti-LGBT activism. Sure that’s a part of it, but really what threatens the crybullies is the idea that they aren’t right. The fact that Chick-Fila continues to have takeout lines and open new stores infuriates the virtue signalers more than any donation, belief, or organizational support of any group that the Chick-fil-A ownership conducts.
The idea that the vast majority of the public doesn’t rush to follow the woke mob’s whims threatens the belief by the mob that they are in the majority and therefore righteous.
If just one pro-LGBT activist started a fast food chain that made a chicken sandwich that tasted anything near as good as Chick-Fila, they would have taken over every city in America by now with all the corporate backing they’d get. They’ve had nearly a decade to try. But they’re not about toppling Chick-Fila, they’re about toppling you and anyone else who picks a restaurant for the food and not the message it sends.
We take the money that would have been spent at chick fil a and put it in the Salvation Army bell ringers bucket.
We always eat at Roy’s chicken during the year. Local business, and very tasty.
Perhaps I miss the sammiches more than you do?
I like their chicken but haven’t bought any since they dumped on the SALVATION ARMY, won’t ever buy anything again from them unless they PUBLICLY REVERSE THAT DECISION!
The SALVATION ARMY is still my NUMBER ONE CHARITY!
Yep...can’t get near the place.
Me too, and I make a point of telling the bell ringer that "This is money I would have spent at Chick-fil-A."
