From what I’ve seen, she has never come off as “woke.” She seems pretty down to earth.
But I haven’t watched any Olympic coverage this year, so maybe I’ve missed something.
Nothing physically wrong it is a mental issue.
She copped out basically a sore loser a product of today’s generation.
Maybe she’s pregnant.
Not trying very hard, at the very least. How can she give her all for a country she thinks is evil? She hates more than half of us.
I celebrated madly when “The miracle on ice” happened back in 1980. But this time around, I want the US to get whacked in the games. I’d like our medal count to be below that of some place like the Philippines.
To hell with all this woke BS.

Well, apparently Simone Biles is woke, and that is what the discussion was about.
Funny you should mention the Philippines. Yesterday, they got their very 1st gold medal in any sport. It was in women’s weight lifting, and it was from a sergeant in the philippine Air Force. She was very proud of her country. You could tell. When they played the Philippine national anthem, she snapped to attention, saluted, and was bawling her eyes out during the anthem.
That was their first. When I last looked, we had 7. None of them did any kind of protest on the podium.
Now, my question to you: WHY do you want us humiliated so badly? What could you possibly want to come out of that?
I want the soccer girls and the pro black basketball boys to get whipped. Or at least lose out.
Otherwise, it depends on the athlete. I don’t wish for the whole lot to get beaten.
For an amusing taking on gymnastics and judging, watch the movie, "Stick it". There is a double entendre intended...both the landing and the judging. A very entertaining movie. Real gymnasts including Nadia Comaneci along with some dolled up actress/gymnasts.
But COVID theater means no spectators except a handful of teammates.
NBC has been crowning her the "GOAT" and she over-compensated.
She was over-powering her routines in an attempt to meet the expectations.
On her qualifying floor exercise, she went so high and so fast that the momentum flew her off of the floor mat.
On her first qualifying vault, she hit the springboard right at the end instead of the middle, and it threw off the balance of the rest of the vault.
I didn't see this morning's event so I can't comment on today, but it looks to me that she let the pressure get the better of her.

Agree. Get rid of half the events, like skateboarding, and all the flippy drippy stuff.
