Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) proteins were measured in longitudinal plasma samples collected from 13 participants who received two doses of mRNA-1273 vaccine. Eleven of 13 participants showed detectable levels of SARS-CoV-2 protein as early as day 1 after first vaccine injection. Clearance of detectable SARS-CoV-2 protein correlated with production of immunoglobulin G (IgG) and immunoglobulin A (IgA).

Give me a break, if that confuses a reader, then they are probably under 5 years old.
Are there any doctors in the house who can translate this into layman’s terms?
I don't know. I thought I had that as a kid. Or maybe it was just a cold.
I think there are several rules on style that say the above was written correctly.
They started the sentence with the number “eleven”...usually a sentence is not started with the arabic numerals.
Freegards.
If a number starts a sentence, it should be written out. Also, business/report writing rules, numbers 1-10 should be written out as well.
It was mostly the globulins that scared me. Or was it the goblins?
Globulins. AKA Globalins (or Globalists). Isn’t that he TRUE DANGER from the Left that we’re confronting?
Incorrect. All style sheets say spell out a number that starts a sentence.
My bad — then why not the word ... thirteen ? Is that bad grammar ?
And see the deceit in the electric utility notice ? Or is that grammatically correct ?!
I had a bad bout with a SARS virus in 2014.
I have not been sick a day since, I thought.
Had a 4 day episode of diarrhea in March of 2020, right after there were two cases of covid detected in my building at work.
My new doctor just told me none of that would provide any natural immunity, and “strongly recommended” I take the vaccine.
All while I was made to wear a mask and he did not.
Earlier in the conversation he said he had covid in November 2020.
I guess he had the magic covid and I had the mere peasant covid.
.
The grammar rules for numerals are not real specific other than they be consistent within the writing. When starting a sentence with a number, I believe it is appropriate to spell out the number.
I'm no doctor, but it sounds to me like another valid danger has been added to the risk of getting a covid vaccine:
Severe acute respiratory syndrome
I thought they would have done this type of study early in the process...apparently not. I always wondered what the fate of the spike protein was after manufacture by our cells...apparently it gets around. interesting that 11 out of 13 got s1 protein. That’s 85% response. Lower than 99% efficacy rating....
Big problem is as I see it is that any cell which gets the mrna in it can make spike protein and those cells can be targeted by immune system and killed...having a universal carrier like the mrna vaccine doesnt necessarily distinguish what cells it goes into....
Verdict: EXPERIMENTAL VACCINE. Much to be learned. Should only be given to volunteers. NEVER MANDATED till fully tested and cleared for human use(with option to REFUSE)
P.S. Very small study. Did they include all 80 million gender identification categories?
All text above is IMHO.
It could have been better said as: “Of the 13 participants 11 had detectable levels...” and avoided the spelling issues since it IS the 11 they are writing about.
No. It’s perfectly acceptable to have both words and numbers in a sentence. Some people like to be uniform and will spell out all numbers, but it’s not necessary.

Stylistically, they probably don’t want to start a sentence with a number.
