IT was a family tradition with my son.

Always had trouble saying no on my way out the door.

So good. Sad to see this end.

Never had them in PA.

But reading this brings back fond memories of the hot dog stand at Sears & Roebuck.

Never seen a hotdog vendor in a Home Depot. But then, i haven’t been in one of their stores in 5 years (or so)/ Won’t even give them online business anymore.

Must have been animal rights kooks. Boiled dogs and all.

A decade or so ago, Home Depot was open 24/7, and sold hot dogs. I though it would be pretty hard for this civilization to progress any further.

How we have fallen.

I used to enjoy a Home Depot dog from time to time. Actually had a choice between a dog and a Polish sausage.

Sounds like an opportunity for someone with a hot dog stand.

There are hot dog/sausage sandwich trailers in the parking lots in both New Hampshire and Florida. The quality of the hot dogs is way above average in both.

Never had them at our Home Depot but seems like a food truck parked outside would do a alot of business.

"Williams, like so many, found the aroma of cooking hot dogs wafting through the air of Home Depot stores comforting - something to count on."

Use to get the same feeling from an aroma when I was in Victoria's Secret with the wife when she shopped there...

Might be wrong, because it was so very very long ago...

IAC, times change... This past April I bought her a new computer and some roses to celebrate 61-years since we got married... The aroma from the roses just made me sneeze...Uncomfortably...

Never once have I been in a Home Depot and thought to myself “I just came in here for a ____ (plunger, light bulb, bug spray, etc) but man oh man a hotdog would be great right now!”

Here in the Raleigh area we had them at Lowes. They disappeared during Covid but are making a comeback.

When I first moved to Florida in 1992 they had hot chicks standing on street corners in bikinis selling hot dogs out of a car.

I still miss them
