OAKLAND, Calif. - A good Samaritan was shot and wounded while trying to stop a robbery in Oakland's Chinatown.
The shooting happened near 8th and Franklin streets at about 2 p.m. Saturday.

2 p.m. Saturday. You just never know. My father and I have spent many years visiting Oakland China Town: great food, great architecture and better weather than San Francisco. Sadly, Mayor Jerry Brown in the 90’s, trashed the city.
