The Christian non-profit Samaritan’s Purse is joining with other groups to EVACUATE Americans and others from Afghanistan amid the Biden administration’s failed military withdrawal.

Graham had earlier issued a call to prayer for the people of Afghanistan and Americans trapped in the nation.

“There is no hope for these people to get out safely—apart from a miracle from the hand of God—and that’s what we need to pray for,” Graham added in a news release.
Graham encouraged Christians globally to lend their efforts as the Taliban have risen to power.
But prayer isn’t all that Graham’s organization is pursuing.
“Samaritan’s Purse has been partnering with organizations on the ground to get men, women, and children out of this horrific situation,” Samaritan’s Purse reported on Monday.
“We have been able to SPONSOR FLIGHTS that have brought hundreds to safety—one of our partners made three trips that brought out 700 people in one day! We have also supported the evacuation of 80 missionary families via land routes,” the report added.
The organization also noted it is working to determine additional needs for those still on the ground. “In addition, we have a Disaster Assistance Response Team in the region to determine how and where we can best help those who have fled with just the clothes on their backs. We know hygiene items will be urgently needed, and traumatized children will need comfort items and compassionate care,” it reported.

Yep and Glenn Beck’s Nazarene Fund has been evacuating people too. I think they’ve raised $28 million.
He is supposed to have a major update today?
And the biden “administration “ takes credit for all in 5,4,3,2,1…..
I’m guessing that Franklin isn’t charging them $2k a head either!

We support Samaritan’s Purse. I was also glad to hear Beck’s Nazarene Fund had a good donations response (heard him on car radio) - not familiar with them, but hope they are doing a lot of good with all the money they raised. Beck says the 2 biggest problems with getting people out: Taliban & the US Government.
That being said, I heard (yesterday, I believe) that the private charter flights are having issues at the Kabul airport - not able to get in/out. I cannot find a link that specifically addresses this. Non-military flights are likely going to stop or be severely limited as the military starts their evac due to Biden’s DEADline.
I heard him and someone from the fund on the radio the other day discussing the situation over there.

Confirmed that when the WSJ, for example (if I heard correctly), asked him for a quote for getting their people out he quoted them $6.5k, including getting the rescuees to the airport and flown out. Prince said that his people couldn’t get insurance for such a risky mission, which was why the cost was so high.
