Lin Wood said in an interview that he "got played". He swallowed the poison pill (basically the Dominion algorithm allegations) and spit it back out a little late. Powell was already poisoned with the Venezuela allegations.
Those served their purpose which was to distract from the wide scale fraud of harvesting, alteration, multiple counting and all the various fraudulent ballots (unfolded mail-in, verified dead voters, verified moved voters, etc)
