Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve had an email debate with a Biden supporter who objected to one of my articles on American Thinker. We’ll call him Lloyd. It’s proven to be a fascinating window into the thinking of those who supported Biden in the last election.
I always thought “Trump Derangement Syndrome” (TDS) was a funny way to describe the enthusiasm with which the left detests Donald Trump. However, after my interaction with Lloyd, I get it now. TDS is a real malady -- created by the gaslighting and propaganda of the left. Those suffering from it don’t just hate Donald Trump, they’ve fabricated an irrational worldview to justify that hatred. It is truly deranged. To move forward as a nation, we need to understand it, and develop strategies to deprogram those afflicted with it.
I’ll start with the text of my correspondence with Lloyd, and then we’ll unpack it.
Me: I’m optimistic that the majority of Americans do not support tyranny and will resist the changes that the left is attempting to impose on us.Lloyd: Sorry John...if you believed that you would never have voted for a guy who called himself the King of The Jews, encouraged his supporters to attack congresspeople, nor you know joked about staying for 12 years. That seems more like tyranny to me. You can hate Biden all you want...if he loses, he won't pull that crap Trump did and you also know that if Biden stays for 8 years, he won't overturn the constitution to get 12. What you really hate is that you're in the minority and you'll never get your way again and will use tyranny to achieve your ends.

I have little patience to develop strategies and deprogramming. They voted for Biden. Send the Afghanistan and let them find their way home on their own. That should give them plenty of time to deprogram on their own.

There were very few who really backed trump in DC. He was a bull in the china shop that upset their ordered way of doing things
I think most of the supposed support was really about getting his voters.
They all should hang their heads in shame for allowing this to happen. Long lasting repercussions..and deaths that did not need to happen
I still cannot believe Mr. Green and others still want to live with these people. They are as bat-shit crazy and just as deadly as that bunch in Alfghanistan. Given the right circumstance, they would cut you (us) down without hesitation. Lt. Michael L. Byrd and James T. Hodgkinson come to mind.
Notice that Lloyd reflexively repeats left wing propaganda talking points like he is hypnotized. He exhibits no independent thinking. Lloyd is brainwashed. Impervious to reality. Think of Lloyd and his ilk as zombies and you won’t be far wrong.

Yet another clueless dolt on our side, is John Green. Just a couple months ago he was lying about how how his many Biden-supporting friends were changing their minds. Now he is JUST discovering that their minds are deranged.
Andrea Widburg is a great writer and thinker, and so is Ted Noel, but is everyone else at American thinker retarded? Or something else?
Our rulers, call them what you will, are divided into the nomenklatura and the apparatchiks. There are various levels of self-awareness in either group, and various levels of evil in each group, but they are all deranged, and they are all motivated by sadism and the desire to punish. That is how they get high.
But the clueless dolts on our side who get published for some strange reason are unaware of who is trying to destroy us. Talk about being deranged.
TDS is definitely real. It’s the reason my dad ended any kind of relationship he ever had with me.
We should realize that the left can’t determine what is right or wrong anymore. Their truth is what they wish it to be.
They are woke enough to change science to fits their needs with 54 varieties of gender.
When they face the judgement of our creator, they may learn to regret their actions.
And they have power?
I’ve seen it myself in a couple of people.

This kind of passive aggressive defensiveness is so commonplace that it is hardly newsworthy. This nation has been riven by a campaign of the left, and the resulting differences are irreconcilable. I know such people, they may be center liberals generally, open to conversation and exchange of views, but bring up Trump or something he did well, and they begin to turn red and froth at the mouth.
One friend was saying how glad he was about the vaccines available. I said ‘you can thank Donald Trump for that” and he responded by attacking Trump for not getting out and cheerleading more for people to get vaccinated. I pointed out two news reports of Trump calling for people at his rallies to get vaccinated. All he could say was “well he should have started earlier.”
Today ... just a few moments ago ... I realized the reason the military was pulled first.
THESE (below) people have been heavily invested in and they can't afford to lose a single one.
