Making a mountain out of a molehill is just another way the Demonrats and elite deceive the masses.
lots of hospitals in the country. what are the chances that some of them are busy sometimes? are there any that are less busy than usual?
Illegals use hospitals as their doctor visits.
Maybe close our southern border and deport the MFers.
It seems Florida has been an early indicator- other states will follow. It makes sense because the vaccine’s effectiveness is wearing off and Delta is very contagious.
The hospital where I work has reached peak- now in a downward trend. We had at least 25% more in-house than our peak last year, but more are recovering for various reasons.
This was common practice back at “flatten the curve” era. Thousands of deferred treatments, inspections, etc.
Where is all the Trump inventory? Why isn’t the most virile and courageous leader, ever, ordering hospital ships and field hospitals deployed. Why does a cancer nuclear medicine ward not have space for radiation treatment? Are the keeping patients in the radiation room?
Yes- the spikes and how pronounced and severe are all over the place. At my hospital we’re getting a younger crowd than last year. More 30-50 yrs with several teens as well.
Our staff is not fully vaccinated- I’d say roughly 1/3 of us haven’t taken it with a higher number of nurses not taking it.
It’s damn near impossible to make any sense of this virus.
A couple of months ago, my brother couldn’t be admitted due to no beds. We had no covid around at that time. Hospital was simply full.
COVID patients mean MORE MONEY!
Perhaps if they actually treated virus patients with things that work, they would have beds available.
Interesting.
I’ve been wondering why Israel and the UK are reporting a majority of variant patients are vaxxed, but US says the opposite.
Because our left is lying. They’ve been lying the entire time.
How do you know that they aren't? And that those in the ICU aren't people who waited too long before getting treatment?
Monoclonal antibodies work best when administered early after a COVID diagnosis. What if people in the ICU are those who waited till they were really sick before seeking help?
Perhaps it's because that a higher percentage of their population are vaccinated than in the U.S.?
Yeah that’s been a problem. Governor DeSantis was being interviewed on OANN a few days ago and mentioned 90% of people that were receiving this treatment didn’t have prior knowledge it was available so the state is trying to do a better job getting the word out.
On a side note, last week my step brother tested positive, went to a local library for the monoclonal antibody treatment and stated he felt much much better in only an hour or two.
Personal experience with hospitals in the area ... family/friends & RNs who work there. I'm sure there are some docs treating early - I see interviews with them, but the vast majority are not, thus people having to resort to telemedicine, if they even know that option exists.

And that those in the ICU aren't people who waited too long before getting treatment?
Again, experience. No early treatment available from PCPs .... unless you know enough to try to treat yourself with OTC. Patients sent home (at least one person 3 times), admitted when they had to go on a vent. NO early treatment available from PCPs despite efforts to get it. It appears that some PCPs are now ordering monoclonal antibodies so that is a positive step in the right direction ... the docs either do not know about early outpatient home-based treatment or don't want to know - again, from personal experience with family/friends around the country. Another issue that docs who DO treat early are seeing - the vaccinated are getting COVID. Because they are vaxed, they don't think it's COVID & by the time they realize the sore throat, sniffles, headache ARE in fact COVID & try to seek treatment, they are often already outside of the early treatment window & in jeopardy of going to the hospital.
