House Republicans have filed articles of impeachment for State Department Secretary Antony Blinken Friday in the aftermath of 13 U.S. service member deaths in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) and Rep. Andy Harris (R-MD) introduced the articles in which they cited Blinken’s “failures in leadership over [the] Afghanistan situation,” Fox News first reported.

Articles for each and every political appointee and elected official: Biden, Harris, Blinken, Austin, etc. But this might result in letting Blinken be fall guy, circle around Biden and Harris, thus coming up short. Biden should do his own house cleaning. The rest of us, well Congress, should start at the top where the buck supposedly stops. Impeach Biden and Harris.

Benedict Arnold turned over plans to West Point to the British and likely would have been shot if George Washington could have gotten his hands on him.
Mr. Blinken turned over a list of names to an enemy in the middle of a pitched battle in the streets which was/is every bit as treacherous and criminal and venal as what Arnold did.
Thus, like Arnold, he is an enemy of America and should be charged with Treason in a Court Martial and if convicted he should be hung like America recently did to Saddam Hussein. They should use the same rope!

The Joint Chiefs of Staff need to resign.
Reincarnate Gen Patton and Chesty Puller and put them in charge.
And, as a Georgia boy, I hate to say this, add William Tecumseh Sherman to the mix.
Austin needs to go as well. Even Les Aspin had enough honor and integrity to resign after Mogadishu, and this is about 10X the clusterfark that was.
From what I saw yesterday, Biden would have to be juiced to be able to find the mop to do that. How on earth did he think he could be juiced to last 4 years? Eight years by his braggadocio remarks of a few months ago? Can you imagine him running in '24? He'd look like Anthony Perkin's mother in that swivel chair in Psycho.
People complain if they say or do nothing, then they complain when they say or do something, despite the fact they have no power to follow through. What would you prefer?
The Joint Chiefs do need to resign, but keep in mind its the CoCom’s, CENTCOM in this case who were operationally responsible for this fluster cluck. Joint Chiefs have only policy and acquisition roles. Combatant Commanders are in charge of ops.

I usually hate to get in these civil war comparisons but.
Sherman and Grant were the fathers of modern warfare. But, there is one big difference. Sherman handled enemy behind the lines activity in a ruthless manor. And both sides used those types of warfare.
Grant, on the other hand, generally opposed wanton destruction of non military targets.
As both northern and southern arguments over which side did what, we all had better get over that argument. Because whats coming down the pike is paramount that we stick together. It has become patriots against nazicRATs.
I cant see this going on much longer before it blows up into a full bore general killing.
