It used to be if a separated military member still had inactive reserve status, they were still subject to the UCMJ. Don't know about now. As a retiree, you should have no further obligations.

As a retiree you have no skin in this game. This is about the men and women currently serving.
Albeit, the UCMJ prohibits this anyway, if I’m not mistaken, they’re issuing this threat to intimidate the ranks.

I did my time and I’m not a retiree. So I’ll damn well say what I want to. I used to despise the French as cheese eating surrender monkeys. No longer. The resident is now replacing them as an ice cream eating surrender monkey. The senior chain of command, O-6 and above, to include the joint chiefs, have forgotten they are warfighters, and are now just politicians. I could shit a better resident or any general.
