Of the 27 scientists who wrote a letter in The Lancet medical journal dismissing the possibility that Covid-19 originated from a Wuhan lab, 26 have links to its Chinese researchers, their colleagues or its benefactors, a new investigation has revealed.
On March 7 last year, the influential journal published the letter in which the 27 scientists said they 'strongly condemned conspiracy theories' surrounding the origins of the coronavirus pandemic that has impacted all corners of the world.
All debate into whether Covid-19 had man-made origins or leaked from the lab in Wuhan - the Chinese city that was ground-zero for the virus - was effectively shut down by the letter.

Well, the Lancet had been corrupted a while back. This explains it. They were supporting all kinds of stupid woke crappola. No one called them on it, so they kept going. Looks like the CCP has been funding woke stuff there, too.

The Lancet proved itself just as unreliable (aka garbage) as the CDC and WHO long ago.

I don’t necessarily have a problem with the work they were
doing at Wuhan. I have a problem that it was taking place
in Wuhan in China.
China is our arch enemy. We may not want to think about it
that way, but China’s government has no problem with it.
China is on a path to world domination folks.
If we finance the morphing of a virus to be more lethal to
humans, what stops the Chinese government from utilizing
any of a number of such viruses against the U. S.? The
answer IS NOTHING!
It doesn’t take more than a ten year old to realize you
don’t strategically allow your enemy access to a KILL-SHOT
like that against you.
Anyone participating in this sort of thing is exhibiting
a very derelict judgement.
This reaches the level of being actionable. It cost us
450,000 of our own citizens, if you take our government’s
figures as rock solid. (We can address that figure some
other time. The fact is, our own government thinks that
many people died from it.)
Let me ask you this. If Ford put out a car that was so
ill thought out, that it cost 50,000 lives one year, wouldn’t
heads roll? Ah YES!!!!
Then why aren’t heads rolling at nearly ten times that
figure and much more around the planet.
Fauci should be up on charges. I’m lead to believe a lot
of other people should be also.

Lancet is a left wing rag that at least three decades ago abandoned science in favor of political advocacy.
There must be some accountability for these politically driven ‘experts’. I hope they are all sued into oblivion.
