Problem with Bob Woodward is that he has devolved into a habitual story teller of dubious veracity. He made outrageous claims about Bob Casey, Trump and others. Woodward is addicted to the spotlight and needs constant attention. Calls into question just how much about Watergate was actually true.
Milley is like people we see every day. Stoplight turning red but it’s a long wait intersection? Go through the red light. Stop sign really boring? Breeze through it. 15 items limit in express grocery lane? Here’s their 75 item cart.
Big problem: This idiot has tremendous military power and “feels” like not obeying a law he doesn’t like because he hates Trump. Might have decided on his own to go to war with nukes on his own whim.
All soldiers and sailors gripe about the brass but HAVE to follow their orders. They can’t say “We just had a meeting at lunch and 9 out of 15 guys say we shouldn’t attack. Your plan stinks and we won’t go.”

If reports are true about Milley calling the CCP, it told the CCP everything they needed to know about the US Military. I am surprised they haven’t rushed two divisions of assault troops on Taiwan’s shores.
There are two kinds of DC republicans. When fascists perpetrate a coup, stealing both houses and the presidency, one group says it’s all potentially a criminal insurrectionist Trump’s fault, let’s investigate. The other group brays on cable news and does absolutely nothing. The Republican response to in your face insurrection? “Wait till ‘22, you betcha”.
I’m waiting for Congress to subpoena Milley to testify and ask him directly “Did you tell anybody that you would contact the Chinese military and warn them of a U.S. attack on China while Trump was still President?”
At least Matt is using the term “elites” for those responsible even above our own country and government. They are the true threat and target. This is all bigger than just us.

Omar Bradley, one of only 5, 5 star Generals was our First Joint Chief of Staff and was sworn into that office in August, 1949.
The Doolittle Raid, in April, 1942, was no doubt known in advance by 5 star Bradley. Try to imagine if Bradley had called up Admiral Yamamoto and warned him of the Doolittle Raid.
Back in those days, we had leaders with balls. They executed Julius and Ethel Rosenberg in Sing Sing on June 19, 1953.
On January 30, 1945, Private Eddie Slovik was executed by firing squad for ‘desertion to avoid hazardous duty’.
IF Milley told a Chinese General what he is alleged to have told him, his legacy belongs in the class of Arnold, The Rosenberg’s and Slovik......et al.
