During a Wednesday appearance on CNN’s “New Day,” journalist Bob Woodward discussed his new book, “Peril,” which is about the transition from President Donald Trump to President Joe Biden.
Host John Berman asked Woodward to explain what he means at the end of the book, in which he concludes that “peril remains.”
Woodward said he and “Peril” co-author Robert Costa both believe Trump is going to run for president again. He warned that Trump’s actions while in office “were not just a problem in the United States” but also “a national security emergency.”

Not like it’s any National Security Emergency having a demented, senile President who stole the election. Nope.

They always say these outlandish things about Trump, but they never give any concrete examples.
The panel never says what exactly was the “national security threat” was in their eyes - the accusation seems to be enough to convict
Woodward’s intent was to portray Milley as a renegade hero. He is astonished that instead of praising Milley, rational people are focusing on his criminality. The vile Woodward is appearing on friendly venues to promote his narrative and protect Milley. Doubt he will appear on Tucker.
