Veteran journalist John Stossel sued Facebook on Wednesday for a fact-check that was added to a post he made about California’s 2020 forest fires.
“This case presents a simple question: do Facebook and its vendors defame a user who posts factually accurate content, when they publicly announce that the content failed a ‘fact-check’ and is ‘partly false,’ and by attributing to the user a false claim that he never made? The answer, of course, is yes,” says the complaint, filed in a California federal court.
Representatives for Facebook did not immediately return a request for comment on the lawsuit.

Yes they do because they know the Republicans are too weak and compromised to stand up to them. When you tolerate abuses there will be more and more of them.
When there’s no repercussions for their actions, they’re pretty much right.
Hard to get 10 million to dump. Having 200,000 sue could force changes and/or take the company down.
John Stossel is in his 70s and he still looks like John Oates from the 1980s. Some people just got them genes.
I have a Facebook account that I use just to blast liberals on it, and here’s a neat trick, I don’t know why it works but it does: Before I sign on I use Cloudfare WARP to hide my IP address, and when they tell me I am suspended because I spoke the truth to a liberal, I sign out, shut off Cloudfare, sign back in to FB and I can post again LOL! This happened last week they told me I was suspended for a month, the next day I could post again.

Facebook gets its money because people pay Facebook to run their ads. Many people do not run ads, but some pay quite a bit to run them, this cost can be as little as 10 dollars for booster ads to much, much, more. If you don’t run ads on Facebook, you are not a significant revenue stream for them and they won’t mind kicking you off. If it’s someone who regularly pays thousands of dollars monthly to advertise their company, that’s different.

Nothing as the account was already banned from groups. Only thing I did was post a link to telegram app. But Facebook wouldn’t even say what I posted that violated their terms.
It’s been sent to the gulag several times for bullying Joe and kamala... No lie. That’s what they said I was doing. In fact that’s why it can’t post in groups... I was bullying Joe Biden.
