This stinks to high heavens.
The majority of journalists, not associated with NBC, NPR, WaPo, etc, are probably working for small town newspapers and small town local news....making $30k to $40k a year. A lot of them, in that first three years after college...might only be making $25k a year.
A number of the independent guys who work for magazines now....probably luck out every two or three months, with a single month of $3k, then fall back to $1k the next month.
So these idiots finish college and owe a debt of $50k to $100k. The ones who went to private colleges owe way more.
And a little something extra in the Christmas bonus if the ‘news’ happens to be fake?
Every blogger is a “journalist.”
For that matter, every one of us is a “journalist.”
Next year it’ll be:
