When has Biden ever told the truth? I've only known one other person who lied as much as Biden and his lies were of no consequence, so they were easily ignored. Biden lies when the truth would do better.
Cut Biden some slack. He probably just forgot. He can’t remember what kind of pudding he had for lunch.
They ALL could be lying. Milley could have offered his advice to Biden in such an indirect and hesitant way that Biden could claim it was no advice at all.
As in:
Gen. Milley: Mr. President, under some conditions it might possibly be a good idea to keep some troops there. I, however, feel those conditions are - at this moment - not likely.
And the Creep expects Americans to trust him about getting vaxxed...
Somebody is lying. Probably all of them.
Doesn’t matter what the generals say - they are mostly covering their collective posteriors. It was Biden’s decision to limit troops to 600. With only 600, Kabul AP is about all they could hold and protect.
Looks like Milley is willing to sell out both sides.
I don't believe Republican Senators either. Of those sitting on the United States Senate Committee on Armed Services, the following voted to certify a potato, and sanctioned unlimited voter fraud on January 6th:
Inhofe, Wicker, Fischer, Cotton Blackburn, Rounds, Ernst, Tillis, Sullivan, and Cramer.
“I believe them more than Biden.”
Not me.
Not because Biden is a good guy or honest, but because these generals are bad guys.
They all planned this together.

Maybe President Joe Biden doesn’t recall that his military advisers told him he should leave 2,500 American troops in Afghanistan. Or maybe he’s lying about it.
But in either case, he should resign from the White House, Rep. Jody Hice said on Newsmax on Tuesday after testimony from Pentagon leaders to the Senate Armed Services Committee contradicted what the president has claimed.
“One of only two options are here,” the Georgia Republican said on Newsmax’s “American Agenda.” “Either the president’s mental capacity has gotten to such a point that indeed, he is not able of recalling the information given him, the advice given him from his military generals, or he’s lying.”

You must not have gotten the memo. Democrats are permitted to lie under oath with impunity. The cannot and will not be charged with perjury.
Biden lied. Maybe billions of people will die.

They did what they wanted to do. They planned it. They did it.
It benefits Belt abd Road, which was the goal.
Biden is a bystander and will do anything the cartel wants.
These generals are 1619 and part of the coup.
We need to stop pretending things are normal.
Biden is a lifelong pathological liar, but at this point a defense lawyer could argue that he lacks the capacity for intentionally lying about anything. You can’t have the “mens rea” of the crime when you lack the “mens.”

I have no doubt the generals would lie to my face, but I doubt they would under oath in a public forum.

All others participated in the fraud.
It would be interesting to see if they get fired for this... So far, Biden doesn’t fire anybody for anything. Perhaps when somebody does something competent?
You are quite right, they all could be lying. I don’t know Milley, but I am very disappointed with his performance. I believe that he has cast his fate with a political faction and has been willing to compromise his integrity for personal gain. I do know Lloyd Austin and am certain that he has done the same thing. It is the disease that is destroying the military as it has done with the rest of our institutions.
As someone who grew up as the son of a professional soldier and who followed in my father’s footsteps, it pains me to see what is happening to my Army and, more importantly, to our Republic. A pox on all of them who are doing this.
On this point, I suspect that Milley had the approval to make his contacts, but his political masters who gave him the go ahead were acting to hurt Trump and to hurt the best interests of our country. Was Milley a co-conspirator? I don’t know, but he is not working in the best interests of our great nation.
I’m with you. Biden is the consummate liar, and that is even if he remembers what he said 5 minutes ago.
What good would it have done to leave 2500 “targets” there? Trump would have ended this debacle successfully.Democrats can’t manage a 2-car funeral.
