The thing is, the Dems are going to get a big welfare bill passed. Bernie starting the offer at 3.5 trillion means the “moderate compromise” is like 2.x trillion of pure welfare. (on top of 1.2 trillion in actual infrastructure spending)
The $1.2 trillion will not be spent on actual infrastructure.
