If Trump is re-elected, and I fervently hope he will be, he needs to tell McConnell that it’s his way or the highway on nominees. Then he needs to start firing people all the way down to G-10.

Yep. His mistake last time was thinking any of the GS employees would be looking out for the US citizens.
He needs to look around and find real supporters to fill out his administration this time. He had a website in 2016 and didn’t use the volunteers that submitted. It would have been real easy to go through the people that submitted for ability and loyalty to the constitutional principles.
SES definitely needs to go. The GS-15 and below are pretty harmless. But the generals and the Senior Executive Service should be purged 100%.

I don’t think Trump knew who fauci was/is either. fauci got in under the radar... and still on as long as the dems can use him.
fauci has lost jobs for people.. changed lives...and the lives lost.. and they still defend fauci.
Those who still fight Trump getting back in the seat.... care less about this country than anything else. the country that has provided opportunity.. they put their own feelings and stupidity first.. their pickadillos are front in saddle.. the US

Trump is a fighter... and I think he has some revenge in his thinking.. Maybe revenge is not the word... but those who know you will get even, are less likely to pull your strings...
He didn’t do it the first term... but I thought he would the second .. for several reasons... and did not yet get the chance. When he gets back..I think he will clean up and pay back..and it will be good for this country.. no one else would do it... Trump has to...and surely they know it.

McConnell and other swamp denizens gave him a list of “confirmable” nominees. Trump should have torn that up and thrown it in their faces.
