The Dallas-based airline blamed the disruptions on air traffic control issues in Florida and bad weather but other airlines in the region reported far fewer cancellations.
Southwest did not immediately comment on whether staffing shortfalls contributed to the cancellations this weekend.

What don’t they black out?......it appears our media giants are surely anything but a free press....rather much an organized and highly functional long arm of the left....again and again and again. Because truth is not in their vocabulary and hasn’t been for years.

They have just removed some videos in which opinions were expressed that went against the official fascist party line.
I doubt that the media are reporting on the clashes with police in various countries, and in Italy just a few days ago.
Anybody who watches only mainstream “news” has a totally distorted view of the world.
Makes sense but why not other airlines? Any idea what the vax mandate is at SW?

Again as long as only a margin of people resist or refuse....nothing happens...when the people come together in an organized and purposeful manner then that equation will grow and change over time.

The Southwest Airlines Pilots Association, Southwest pilots’ labor union said that “we can say with confidence that our Pilots are not participating in any official or unofficial job actions.”
“Our Pilots will continue to overcome SWA management’s poor planning, as well as any external operational challenges, and remain the most productive Pilots in the world,” it said.
Earlier on Saturday, the union noted that the company’s recent announcement that it will comply with the Biden administration’s requirement that federal contractors must mandate staff Covid vaccinations is contributing to distractions for aviators.

The American people better take note that the US Congress (both sides of the aisle) are MUTE on the jab mandates and the theft of our freedom(s). The members of Congress exhibit absolutely no spine, absolutely no guts, and are out searching for their gonads. They’re eunuchs when it comes to protecting the USA; protecting the US Constitution, and protecting the American people from the Marxist within. Their lips flap when they’re on the MSM and then they do absolutely NOTHING to help the American people. One would have to figure out that they’re part of the problem or on the CCP payroll. I think NOT when next they expect to be reelected by telling us lies and trash when election time rolls around. 90-95% of the US Congress is worthless and compromised.
My brother was a captain for Southwest for decades. The Covid shot management “encouraged” him to get was received shortly before his FAA physical that airline captains get every 6 months. For the first time in his career he was grounded by the medical examiner because he had a “swollen” and “inflamed” heart. Multiple exams later he is now considered permanently disabled. It is not just teenage boys that have this “rare” side effect. The people who examined him all said they had seen the same problem in other professional pilots. He had no history of heart problems ever in the past. In fact he has always stayed very fit.
He and his family are now living on about a third of what they had become accustomed to. Some rough times are ahead if this condition does not kill him. They of course have been trying to sell their expensive house and other things.
That’s awful.
