Lego is striving to make sets "more inclusive" to boys and girls, according to chief product and marketing officer, Julia Goldin. Getty Images Lego on Monday vowed to rid its toys of “gender bias and harmful stereotypes” in a push to make them more accessible to girls.
The world’s largest toymaker has already stopped labeling its products as “for girls” or “for boys” and its website does not allow searches by gender, The Guardian noted.

Gender
Is not now
And has never been
a biological term.
Mmm K ?
It is a term of grammar
Like tense
Here is the exact definition of gender
Gender is defined as a classification of a noun or pronoun as feminine, masculine or neuter. An example of gender is the pronoun "he." ... (grammar) A division of nouns and pronouns (sometimes of other parts of speech), such as masculine, feminine, neuter or common.
.
So there can be toys just for girls, but there can’t be toys just for boys?
It is a literary description
Not a biological description
So just quit with the bait and switch con
The term denotes the character of the
Pro noun
Not the biology
a classification of a noun or pronoun
how they gonna do that? get rid of the male bits and female bits?
So, does this put the kibosh on their TITanic model?
Not a classification of biological sex
But the goth kids can still buy just black Legos, right?
It’s their company.
Of the folks I know with lots of legos, most are either indiscriminate masses to build stuff with, or they are Star Wars. Guys collect the vehicles, and gals collect the dioramas.
For the masses of legos, both sexes like them early on, then all but a few of the girls just stop beyond a certain level of complexity and move on to softer mediums.
I want to learn Spanish. Can I get a gender-neutral book of Spanish grammar?
(I know it’s total idiocy. Spanish without gender is not Spanish.)
I’d suggest Lego also address its implicit bias against people walking in bare feet. I’m pretty sure no wheelchair-bound person has ever suffered the agony of a barefoot encounter with a Lego block on the floor in the dark. I demand Lego immediately recall all their hard plastic toys and replace them instantly with soft, foamlike substitutes - at the company’s exclusive expense, naturally.
Previously boys and girls were excluded from Lego toys?
Call them Lega and Lego?
Get everyone here was giddy when they just read about the new Lego “Titanic” set.
“Yet” not “Get”.
I was noticing in the Amazon Toy Catalog that there weren’t any military toys. There were girls’ toy sections and generic toy sections but no sections that could be counted as boys’.
There are generic Lego companies on the web, from China, that provide military Legos. Even German and Russian WW II tanks and soldiers. Woke parents will be surprised. The following is one.

Nah, really? Insight such as this is what draws me to FR on a daily basis.
Lego Introduces New Sharper Bricks That Instantly Kill You When You Step On Them
“This is the most promising advancement we’ve made in our brick design since we first introduced the bricks that make it feel like your foot is being stabbed by a hundred sharpened katanas many decades ago.”
Just make them all magnets. They can all be bi-polar.
