Oct 14 (Reuters) - New Zealand reported on Thursday its biggest rise in COVID-19 infections in six weeks, with all cases detected in Auckland, raising prospects of a further extension of lockdown restrictions in the country's largest city beyond next week.
Some 1.7 million people in Auckland are under strict stay-home orders until Monday as officials look to stamp out the highly infectious Delta outbreak, the first major spate of community cases in the country since early in the pandemic.
Deputy Prime Minister Grant Robertson said the surge in case numbers in Auckland was not unexpected "but they are rising more quickly," and blamed illegal home gatherings for the spike.

For those who appreciate context
Vaccine has worked wonders for me. Even the Caribbean cruise in mid-September 2021 failed to infect me with symptoms. And zero adverse side effects after 8 months since the 1st jab.
Just lay in a supply of HCQ and Ivermectin and begin treating patients within 48 hours of symptom; problem solved and Pandemic over.
The good news is SARS-COV-1 (2000) antibodies are still effective. Hopefully, the Cov-19 antibodies provide lifelong protection as well. But yeah, the hidden Polly-Anna populations will be a source for new variants for years.

Not just me, I am just 1 anecdote.
216+ Million Americans already jabbed (may be more now, that number is from last week) and not even 0.007% have died per VAERS.
216 Million is a gargantuan large sample base. Much bigger than any previous medical experiments. If the reported deaths remain below 0.01%, how can anyone with rational mind call the experiment a failure?
They might need to upgrade to gulags.
