Should the company determine if you can pen a gun?
Or a motorcycl or a knife? Or what youau read/way h/ listen when not working?
My company does not allow us to bring a gun to work, not even in our car in the parking lot. It's their right to do so.

Knife is the same as a gun. Motorcycles are allowed. And what I do or say off hours on social media can certainly get me fired if I violate company policy. Living in a employment at will state they have that power.
