FBI agents are at the home of Russian tycoon Oleg Deripaska, the agency confirmed Tuesday.
The agents are conducting “court-authorized law enforcement activity” at Deripaska’s home in Washington, D.C., an FBI spokeswoman told CNBC.
The spokeswoman did not provide additional details about the FBI presence. Multiple agents were seen restricting access to the property, NBC News reported.

Deripaska is known for his connection to American political consultant Paul Manafort, convicted of tax fraud, bank fraud and failure to report foreign bank accounts. The convictions stemmed from Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections. Deripaska employed Manafort from at least 2005 to 2009.[11]
Oleg Deripaska was one of the suppliers of information to Bruce Ohr in the Russiagate hoax. He was also supplying dirt to Democrat Senator Warner.

In 2009, Mueller’s FBI arranged to have Deripaska use his own finances to attempt to locate retired FBI agent Robert Levinson, who had gone missing from the Iranian island of Kush in the Persian Gulf after a meeting with a black former US citizen who was employed by an Iranian news agency. The former US citizen was the individual who in 1981 assassinated one of the Shah’s diplomats in Washington DC. Levinson is believed to have died in Iranian custody.

In the recording, one man says everyone in Vashukevich’s group needs to be “locked up” and suggested that she could be charged with illegal business activities.
Vashukevich insists she is being framed for a crime she didn’t commit and apologized to Deripaska in court last week, saying: “Please forgive me. I was just a tool and people used me.” Deripaska reportedly loaned Paul Manafort in excess of $10 million before the U.S. political adviser became Donald Trump’s campaign chairman in 2016.
