A plurality of Britons would have preferred former Conservative Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher to have handled the Chinese coronavirus pandemic, a poll found.

YouGov asked 5,511 adults in Great Britain in a poll published on Wednesday: “Regardless of how you view them otherwise, if you had to choose one British Prime Minister from the last forty years to have handled the Covid-19 outbreak, who would it have been?”

Brits want a deceased prime minister over Boris Johnson. In a related story, Americans want Donald Trump over a deceased president.

The West never should have engaged with Red China back in the 70's.

We sure as Hell should not have let them in the W.T.O. in 2001.

Oh well, just think about all the profit that was made.

Margaret Thatcher was the epitome of the strong woman in the mode of Queen Boudica.

If you watched the Crown, the portrayal of Thatcher was wretched. Shame on whomever wrote the story.

She was a remarkable leader.

And in other news, Trump is remembered as the last American President…

Her university degree was in chemistry, not the BS degree in PPE (Politics, Philosophy & Economics) that most British pols have these days.

Safe to say a conservative prime minister with a chemistry degree would have handled things differently.

She would probably have actually “followed the science”.

We would be seeking reparations from the CCP as I write.

The elites hated her, not just for her politics but especially because of her class, and the way she refused to defer to U colleagues who were manifestly her inferiors in skill and courage. I loved her.

And of course, here in Kanadahar (Canada), Prime Mistake Cockwomble True-dolt, was re-elected. We are so screwed! As a country, we turned our back on God; now we’re getting exactly what we deserve.
Hosea 8:7: “For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind.”

In our churches, like our country, division, a ‘sifting’ of Believers. The layoff of many in government positions is drawing many to church for the first time, while many are leaving larger, ‘lukewarm’ churches.

The ‘megachurch’ in Calgary, Centre Street Church, has lost thousands during the CCP-Coronavirus CONdemic, as it has no official position on vaccines. Meanwhile, many smaller churches are growing because they are small enough that there are relationships more easily formed in such churches.
