The US base at Al-Tanf, in Syria’s southern Homs province, has reportedly come under attack by either missiles or a drone. No casualties were reported, and the US Central Command blamed “Iranian-backed militias.”
Reports of the attack appeared online around 10 pm local time on Wednesday, initially mentioning a “suicide drone” and multiple aircraft. A CENTCOM military official told Sky News Arabia that the base was targeted by “missile strikes” and that there were no casualties.
Other reports claimed multiple drones targeted the base, from the direction of the Iraq-Syria border.

Al Tanf at the critical crossroads to Iraqi and Damascus
Knowing how to use a drone and owning a good one, (there’s many good ones under 1000), might just be something a patriot will want to have in their self defense quiver. I have 4 drones and each one has a task it does better than the others.
I have one the flys high enough you don’t hear it right overhead, it has movie grade video and a high resolution camera. I have my eye on 2 others that will fly at a high rate of speed and is able to fly in high wind conditions. When the prices stabilize, I’m going to invest in one large enough to equip with a payload system to deliver…
Having adequate self defense is more than having weapons, weapon knowledge, ammo and all the rest. Having a stash of cheap drones you can send up when things start getting hot, might be the only way we can live to fight another day or perhaps even they might bring victory where victory could never be achieved otherwise.
