North Carolina man ID’ed as one of John Wayne Gacy’s victims

Another of John Wayne Gacy’s victims has finally been identified more than 40 years after dying at the hands of the twisted killer.

Francis Wayne Alexander, of North Carolina, was identified through dental and DNA records, law enforcement announced Monday.

Alexander’s body was one of 26 cops discovered in Gacy’s crawl space in December 1978. He was killed sometime between early 1976 and 1977, when he would have been just 21 or 22 years old, according to Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart.

He was one of six victims that had still not been identified over more than 40 years later.

A friend of mine told me a story about Gacy. Her and her boyfriend ran out of gas and a man stopped to help them. He got them gas and bought them pizza after.

Then when the news broke she realized it was Gacy. She told her boyfriend at the time if she was not with him he would be gone. She said Gacy was very polite and a kind. So weird!

I worked with a young man who was probably 16-17 y/o around 1978. He was at a Builders Square (think Home Depot) and a guy, John Gacy, gave him a business card as he was looking for labor / help doing contract construction jobs.

At least the family can have closure.

I am more concerned for the victims of ‘John Wayne’ FAUSTCHI! How many millions killed because of him?

My sister tells how she and her friend hitchiked in our town and to other local towns back when they were teens in the early 70’s.

It was a different time then.
She cringes about it now.
