The director of a new documentary focused on Pete Buttigieg’s 2020 campaign says his film confronts the personal toll running for president takes on White House hopefuls.
“What is it like to be a human being and undertake this?” is the central question in “Mayor Pete,” Jesse Moss says.
The documentary — filmed over the course of the former South Bend, Ind., mayor’s campaign — premieres on Amazon Prime on Friday.

Well, we have to remember too, that Pete is a homosexual, which makes him special in this politically correct world we live in.
Maybe these prima donnas that are under so much pressure and stress from having handlers, travel guides, cooks, valets, an expense account, personal physicians, body guards, and even dogs pre-sniffing their campaign stops should pick up a weapon and step into the forests of Vietnam or the sand in Iraq like I and many of my peers did with the outlook of damaging the body beyond its use and dying early from injuries and mental whack. Then they can complain what life did to them. (Of which most vets don’t) But they would have earned their worth to this country. It appears right now they are just federal welfare recipients not doing their job and stealing the rest.
I could easily call them a piece of the female anatomy and be absolutely right. But I don’t want to offend people here. It’s this type of hero worship efforts that make me feel old.
