Biden administration officials have spoken periodically for ten months about consultations with “partners and allies” over the Beijing Olympic games, but Secretary of State Antony Blinken this week had no update to offer.
With 12 weeks now to go until the February 4 opening ceremony, Blinken was asked on Wednesday if there was a deadline to make a decision on whether or not to participate in the 2022 Winter Games.
“Well, let’s see. The games are coming up when, in – early in the year,” he said with a smile. “So, before then.”

Does anyone really think that Biden will want us to boycott the Olympics to protest China’s actions?
Biden is no Jimmy Carter. I know that’s not saying much. Just saying, I would be shocked if Biden announced we would not go.
Anyway, it’s not his decision. The Olympic organization, whatever the official name of that organization is, had voted to agree to Jimmy Carter’s request that we boycott Moscow in 1980. Would they go along with such a request from Biden this time around? Good question.
China owns Biden. They’ve got the goods on him and his pervert son.
Shouldn’t climate activists be calling for the canceling of the Olympics? By their measure it adds how much carbon to the environment? Yet silence.. at least as trumpeted through the media. So why aren’t climate freaks tweeting at NBC to stop promoting such things?
